About Me

I am a geoscientist with a particular interest in understanding the inner workings of the Earth. Most of my days are spent writing, formulating research, mentoring or learning from colleagues, and in service to the community. Recent experiences range from writing or modifying millions of lines of code and writing exhaustive manuscripts to delivering invited talks and teaching the next generation with tech-assisted pedagogy.

Due to the nature of my work, I leverage several inter-personal, analytical and computational skills. Fortunately, I have grown up in and have been influenced by diverse cultures across the U.S., Canada and India. I am forever striving to help create an equitable and fair environment in the geosciences. While work is a major part of my life, I am also a proponent of pursuing wellness for a well-rounded experience.
